1) A Pear- this means that you have a smaller upper half, sometimes even boney, with most of your weight carried at the hips, bottom and thighs. To balance out your figure, wear bright tops, or tops with sleeves. Also, try to avoid trousers that are slimmer at the ankle and pencil skirts
2) An Apple- you tend to carry your weight around your stomach without a well-defined waist, you might have really nice legs/ chest so try to accentuate your best assets! Wear tops and dresses with an empire line and avoid pleated or tiered skirts
3) Strawberry- you have a bigger chest/ broad shoulders, but have a relatively slim lower half. Fuller skirts and wide leg trousers will help balance you out, try to wear brighter colours on your lower half but avoid shoulder pads and halternecks
4) Hourglass- your bust and hips are large in comparison with your waist. Wear waist cinching dresses and belts, and wide leg trousers. Avoid baggy clothes.
You don't have to take this advice of course, if for instance something which i've said to avoid makes you feel/ look good then wear it! It's all about being confident in your own skin
